[VANS] In 1966, Paul Van Doren and three partners opened their first store at 704 E Broadway in Anaheim, California on March 16th. On the first morning, 12 customers came to the store, and #44, now called AUTHENTIC, was born. In 1976, it was designed by future legends Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta. The model now known as the ERA was released in padded and two-tone colors.
In 1982, SLIPON began to attract attention from around the world when Sean Penn wore them in the movie "Fast Times At Ridgemont High". In the 1990s, SLIPON made a big impact on the skate scene and established its position. Even today, SLIPON continues to be the choice of skaters and fashion lovers in many countries.
