This morning's LOWERS. The waves were small but beautiful.
It has been held at T-STREET since yesterday.
I went to watch the SURFING AMERICA PRIME event.
This is a high-level qualifying event featuring the best 24 competitors in each age class in California.
Apparently, regional qualifiers will be held in Hawaii, Florida, and other places.
This contest will determine the US Surf Team riders who will compete in the LOWERS finals, which will attract riders from all over the United States, and then go on to the world championships.

There are five of these classes.
Chris Ward's daughter Maria was also competing.

In the semi-final H1 of the boys under 16 class,
Love Surf team's Kei Kobayashi was winning,
I'm excited to support them.
Kei was unfortunately defeated in the semi-finals,
