Lost "MADE IN JAPAN QUALITY" Stockboard Project Launches!

We have started production and sales of "MADE IN JAPAN QUALITY" LOST surfboards, which are produced domestically at the "MSP" surfboard factory in Fukushima Prefecture, which is officially recognized by LOST surfboard shape designer MAYHEM and Nishii of Love Surf.

Reasons for choosing "MSP" surfboard factory

As you all probably know, at the end of January 2020, MAYHEM came to Japan to have their custom order shaped at the "MSP" surfboard factory. The main reason MAYHEM chose the "MSP" surfboard factory for their custom order shaping is because it has the same facilities as their own LOST factory in San Clemente. (The second reason will be explained at the end.)

Utilizing the cutting edge "Actu Shaping System"

"MSP" craftsmen produce with Japanese quality

The factory is equipped with an Australian-made machine called the "Acshaping System," which cuts the same blanks as LOST using surfboard designs made by MAYHEM.Furthermore, MSP has been deemed to have facilities equivalent to those at LOST's headquarters factory in San Clemente, California, because after smoothing is complete, the factory is equipped with equipment that can color the boards with airbrushing and resin colors, as well as glass lamination and sanding, regardless of whether the boards are made of poly or epoxy, making it possible to complete surfboards in-house.

The project ordered by MAYHEM himself has begun!

While MAYHEM was in Japan to get his custom-order shaping done, he was impressed by the high level of skill in the machine cutting, glassing, and sanding of LOST surfboards made by the craftsmen at the MSP surfboard factory, as well as the high quality of the finished boards.He ordered that LOST surfboards of ``MADE IN JAPAN QUALITY'' be made here at MSP and released immediately, and this project was launched in a hurry.

LOST surfboard official "Shinji Murohara" is in charge of smoothing

The shape design is done by MAYHEM, cut on MSP's AKU machine, and smoothing is done with LOST pride by Shinji Murohara, who was personally trained by Mayhem and is officially certified by LOST surfboards.

Made in Japan quality

The MSP surfboard factory's team of craftsmen then hand-glass the board with meticulous attention to detail and careful sanding, a technique that only Japanese people can master, to create a finished product with Japanese quality.

Four low-priced POLY models will be released in 2020!

The boards being released are manufactured by POLY and come in four models. What's especially noteworthy is that these four models are priced so low because they eliminate the import costs from overseas!

The second reason was that, since MAYHEM was going to be in Japan in the winter with his 10-year-old son River , he wanted to be able to enjoy snowboarding with his son while he was shaping his shape, so it was essential that the place be close to snowy mountains!
