Simple and effective flood mitigation
Rubber is used on the part of the glove that faces the skin at the entry point. The rubber surface adheres to the skin like an octopus's suction cup, reducing gaps that cause water to seep in and reducing water ingress. It blocks water ingress and maintains heat retention as much as possible without increasing the amount of equipment or work required.
