Sealing tape

For repairing the jersey part of a wetsuit!

This is a repair product specifically for the jersey parts of wetsuits that can be applied with an iron or WET BOND!

■Precautions when using sealing tape
・This adhesive tape is for use on jersey parts only. It cannot be used on skin fabrics, pile-finished fabrics or special fabrics.
- Use on areas where seams are starting to tear or small scratches on the surface of the jersey.
For other complete holes, we recommend using a wetsuit-specific adhesive (sold separately) to repair the suit, or having it repaired at a wetsuit factory.
- If water is frequently entering through the seams, sticking this on the seams of the lining will provide a waterproof effect.
- If the iron is too hot or for too long, it may burn the jersey.
・Store the sealing tape in a cool place away from direct sunlight. If it becomes hot (such as inside a car in summer), the adhesive may melt and stick to surrounding objects.

■ Repair procedure
- Wash off any dirt on the repaired area thoroughly with fresh water and dry it before use.
- Cut the sealing tape slightly larger than the area to be repaired and prepare an iron (a steam iron is recommended).
- Use a medium iron temperature of 150℃ and press the sealing tape from above. At this time, make sure the sealing tape is not stretched or contracted, and apply pressure straight from above to heat seal it for about 10 seconds.
