The UBER DRIVER is designed as a board that lies between a high-performance and hybrid model. Its wide, pointed nose design is the best weapon in the DRIVER series for small waves. The front half inherits the nose outline from the SHORT ROUND, while the rear half mixes in the tail design of the SUB-DRIVER. This board was designed for those looking for the performance you expect from a DRIVER, to give them an advantage in small heats where a DRIVER won't do the trick.
The gentle nose rocker allows for easy catching of waves with a relaxed paddle, a quick takeoff, and a quick line. We recommend choosing a board length that's 2 to 4 inches shorter than a standard board, 4 inches shorter than a "DRIVER," or 2 to 3 inches shorter than a "SUB-DRIVER," with a slight width increase. Based on the DRIVER, Mayhem of LOST, a world-class, cutting-edge surfboard designer with five WSL men's and five women's surfers, developed this board to give competitors around the world an advantage in small waves.
